Meeting Hélène Campbell

Happy Friday all!!!! What an amazing week for me!!!

Many of you might of heard of double lung-transplant recipient Hélène Campbell  in the media or thanks to the support of Justin Beiber via Twitter and/or Ellen Degeneres via her show.

Hélène is Canadian from here in Barrhaven Ontario and I had the blessing of meeting her this past Tuesday as she stopped by the office with her Mom and sister to thank President and staff for their support. She is a spunky young woman, funny and so irresistable!!! Her amazing smile and joy for the little things have inspired me more than words can express!

In October 2011, when Hélène was diagnosed with Idopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, her only option to survive was to sustain a double lung transplant but for that. she needed a donor. She took it upon herself to save lives and her own by launching a campaign for organ donations. Her prayers were answered but not without many stumbles and possibly more to come...

You can read more about this courageous young lady at :

*******************************

I wanted to offer her something extra special from so came up with a box/card set that I had signed by all my co-workers. I don't know how many times Hélène said It's soooo Beautiful!!!! I was so happy!!!!!!

*******************************

Please become an organ donor as I did thanks to Hélène!!! You can find links per country on A Lung Story's link page.

Then why not spread the word by sharing on Facebook?? See video below with Hélène and Canadian Health Minister announcing a new app on FB and how to use it :)

Thank you for taking the time to read and possibly helping to raise awareness :)

Take care, be well.....
