For my first creation of 2014, I decided I needed a big change from the Christmas stuff so colored up Hella Enchanta.

I used the sparkle twist by adding some huge die-cutted stars as well as making the card sparkle with gold trim, button and metal star shaped paperclip. The designer paper is also glittered up in gold and the contour of my image is embossed with chunky black enamel and the 3D skull is a cool sticker I had in my stash. Hope you like!

Here is my DT make :) Are you aware that for quick cards, KennyK Downloads has an awesome collection of pre-colored digis? I chose to use one today to inspire you, she is Christmas shopping and can be found here.

 

 

Pretty simple card, MS punch, doily, star spellbinder dies, lots and lots of stardust stickles and frosted lace stickles on the image. The swirls are made with Magnolia's doo hickey die. I added beautiful blingy stones in the bottom corners (not visible on pic) and snowflake buttons on my stars. Hope you like!

KennyK's Challenge - Holiday Chic & New Release

 Happy Sunday all!!!

 

Before I announce the new challenge, may I tell you that today was my very first experience of spending a whole day at the spa!!!! Foot massage, facial, 90 minute back massage, legs tonic treatment and a papaya body wrap. OMG!!! Heaven!!! I am not only Zen, I am talking in slow motion and almost walking backwards from feeling so relaxed. Wish this feeling would last forever! For anyone living with stress & anxiety, spoil yourself!! I am including the spa to my new lifestyle, that's for sure :)

Now for my Holiday Chic: Sparkle creation I used the new release, City Star. So fun to work with, she inspired me to make a round card. The sparkle is everywhere....leaves, snow in the background, frosted lips and a sparkly fur trim and pompom on her bonnet. Hope you like!

I used Snow-Tex on my branches and fluffed up her hat with Faux snow from Art Glitter. My image is colored with Copic Markers and the whole card sparkles thanks to Stardust Stickles. Hope you like :)
